- Do you ever notice the small circles on the Rs.2000 note?
If we look perfectly, the Rs.2000 note has 9 and 11 bubbles on the front and 16 bubbles on the backside as shown in the above picture. These numbers indicate the day on which the 2000 note was launched. i.e 9/11/2016
- We must have seen this line on 200, 500, and 2000 notes, in fact, it is not shape!
it is for the sign of blind people so that they can check the note whether it is real or fake and based on the number of lines one can detect whether it is 200 or 500 or 2000. There are 6-7 lines on each end of the 200 note which can be detected by touch.
On a Rs.500 note there are 5–5 lines formed on both ends.
On Rs.2000 note there are 7-8 lines.
Similarly for detecting the note there were symbols as well, give a look at these old notes
For the visually challenged people, There is an identification mark of different geometrical shapes on the left-hand side of each note in the form of raised print.

- Mumbai mint – have a Diamond
- Delhi mint – have a Dot
- Kolkata – empty
