Fast forward 2017, I have presented this idea in IDEA CHALLENGE 2017(National level competition), which was held in NIT Srinagar.

Joint Entrance Exam(JEE) or State level engineering entrance exam pass out students can directly connect to their senior students from different NITs, IITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and some other reputed colleges through a phone call and can know about college/university and how to reach there and advantages/disadvantages of joining that particular institute, etc.

Some students won’t choose to go to the northeast/northern institutes like NIT Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Srinagar, etc by thinking that there won’t be any student from their particular state or by considering the food problems or security reasons (mainly for girl students) and some other problems. Particularly the students of Southern India think a lot before joining Northern India Institutes. If these students talk to their seniors then everything becomes easy in every possible way.

Background:

I am a student of NIT Srinagar, hails from South India. In 2016, I have gone through many difficulties in reaching the institute that I got in JEE Counseling. So, I don’t want my juniors to face the same problem. If the student gets connected to a senior then it will be easy for him/her to reach the institute.
